Welcome to Capital Gay Men!

Capital Gay Men is a group that provides a safe space for gay men to gather. It is our attempt to build a healthy and prosperous supportive community for the gay men in New Hampshire through various social activities.

We meet every Friday night at 7:30 pm in the Unitarian Universalist Church in Concord, New Hampshire.

Upcoming Meetings

2010‑03‑12 Michael Panebianco is an attorney representing Cleveland, Waters and Bass here in Concord and will answer questions regarding gay marriage, wills, trusts, getting hurt on the job, accidents, lawsuits, gay rights. Feel free to pull him aside if you need a private moment.
2010‑03‑19 Ever wanted to tell someone where to go? Tonight's your chance! It's Vacation Ideas Night, girls! Where have you been? What did you like/dislike about where you've been?
2010‑03‑26 Jeffrey Albair will host Speed Friending. Men are rotated to meet each other over a series of short intervals lasting 4 minutes. At the end of each interval, the organizer rings a bell to signal the participants to move on to the next friend. This is CGM's take on Speed Dating. CGM will supply a list of 20 questions you can use if you're challenged.
2010‑04‑02 Do you go through life in the neutral zone? Are you uptight and reek from being a prude? Tonight's movie, Julie and Julia is for all you discriminating members of CGM. Sit with your backs straight ( no slouching! ) and hands folded on your lap while you crack a subtle smile throughout this movie. Be warned! Butter is used and may not be suitable for all viewers. Viewer discretion is advised.
2010‑04‑09 If you're tired of sitting in front of a computer all day looking for a thirst quencher, then Go (Gay Outdoors) is for you! Meet men outside. Mike Boisvert is here to explain the organization and will lead you down a quiet trail at a park near you!
2010‑04‑16 Keith will be speaking this evening. Come for the unveiling as he surprises us with a topic of his choice. Don't ask me what it's about because I haven't a clue.
2010‑04‑23 Karaoke! Sing! Sing a song! Make it simple, to last your whole life long. Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear. Just sing, sing a song! Bill Peterson will supply the karaoke machine.
2010‑04‑30 A picture can express a thousand words! Join us for Pictionary. Jamie Pike will host this visual treat.
2010‑05‑07 GAME NIGHT! Let's play with each other! From "Simon Says" to "Tag, you're it," everyone who comes will be glad they did. Board meeting 6 PM. All welcome.
2010‑05‑14 What is it like to be a gay father? Meet men who have fallen victim to the pressures of mainstream society. Why have children? Get an understanding of what these gay men go through everyday.
